Dare to Leadâ„¢ for Nonprofit & Educational Institutions

Julie Boll Consulting is pleased to announce that Quincy University’s QUEST Center for Experiential Learning will be hosting a 2-day Dare to Lead™ workshop for nonprofit and educational leaders on January 6 & 7, 2020.  Early bird and team pricing rates end December 1, 2019.

Dare to Lead™ is designed for individuals and teams who are ready to embrace brave leadership, shed their armor, and show up with whole hearts in their work and life. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program that gives you the skills, practices and tools needed to support brave leadership and build more courageous cultures.

According to Brené’s research, there are four components of courage-building:

  • Rumbling With Vulnerability
  • Living Into Our Values
  • BRAVING Trust
  • Learning To Rise

This two-day Dare to Leadâ„¢ – Quincy open enrollment workshop gives you the time and space you need to explore and understand the concepts presented in Brené’s research, while also providing a safe space to practice the tools needed for courageous leadership and build connections with others. In addition to receiving a certificate of completion, individuals who complete the 16-hour program may put the Dare to Leadâ„¢ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

What People are Saying

I was very familiar with Brene Brown’s work and had read Dare to Lead prior to coming to the training led by Julie Boll. I am so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and opened my heart to this tremendous work. Not only did I learn very practical ways to become courageous in my work life, I found everything to be incredibly applicable in my personal life as well. Even after day 1, I began using some of the language learned and saw an immediate impact on how I worked with others and how I gave myself more grace to be honest and make mistakes. Thank you!”

Laura Millkamp, Director, University City Children’s Center

It was the best training I’ve attended! We sent a team of educational leaders from our district and we have already had numerous discussions surrounding the workshop and how we can improve as a group and as individuals. This program made me step out of my comfort zone and I will be forever grateful for it!”

Andy Stumpf, Principal, Winchester Public School District

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to participate in this experience, both on a personal and professional level.  In the end, just having the time set aside and dedicated to getting down to the human level of how people communicate and examining the reasons behind why some people are effective and others are not was extremely helpful.”

Emily Cook, Program Coordinator, Leaders for Life
