Align Your Business to Your Values Workshop

Is your business in alignment with your values? Join Julie Boll and Bethany Planton as they explore the tremendous impact of aligning your business to your values, and walk you through a series of reflections to help you shift your business, and your life, close to your values.

Getting clear about our values helps us make hard decisions about whom to serve, when to walk away from opportunities, and when to speak up. It also helps us to put boundaries in place to protect what’s most important, and safeguard us against burnout.

Suggested pre-work: Complete THIS Values Clarification exercise.

Daring Leadership in the Grants Profession: Boundaries

Do you struggle to say no? Are you frustrated or resentful at work?

The number one driver of resentment is lack of boundaries. Join us for a chance to explore and build your courageous leadership muscle with Julie. Julie will outline the four teachable, measurable, and observable skill sets of Daring Leadership and explore how we can put boundaries in place to help us stay in our integrity and remain generous towards others. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program.

Dr. Brené Brown defines a leader as “anyone who holds him or herself responsible or accountable for finding potential in people or processes.” Effective grant seeking requires skillful leadership, often without the advantage of authority. Grant writers must collaborate both internally and externally to develop competitive grant applications for their organizations. This requires clear communication, processes, and the ability to hold ourselves and others accountable.
