Leadership Immersion Program
A 2 Month Exclusive Courage-Building Experience
“In the past, jobs were about muscles, now they're about brains, but in the future they’ll be about the heart.”
Minouche Shafik, London School of Economics
The Future is NOW
Navigating COVID-19 and the dismantling of systemic racism in our organizational cultures requires us to trade in perfectionism for progress. Before an organization can tackle systems, it must first look inward, to the internal conditioning of the men and the women who make up the organization.

The Dare to Lead:Leadership Immersion Program delivers the empirically based Dare to Lead™courage building program, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, with an inclusion and equity lens. This program is designed to help individuals develop deep self-awareness, increase their level of awareness of others, recognize their impact on others, and finally; help organizations develop clear and intentional actions and strategies to be adopted to create a more caring and resilient workplace through activities, teachings, reflection, and application.
You will walk away with a greater understanding of your courageous leadership strengths and weaknesses, emotional intelligence, and barriers to courage. This unique small cohort experience allows you to build meaningful relationships with others and begin practicing the tools and language needed to strengthen your courageous leadership. In addition to the 24-hour courage-building curriculum, you will have access to the following:
- Genos International Emotional Intelligence 360 Assessment tool and personalized emotional intelligence coaching. Research has proven that a leader’s emotional intelligence is key to their capacity to facilitate emotions in others that drive high performance and employee engagement.
- Personalized Integration Plan. You will participate in a one-on-one integration planning session designed to help you identify where and how you want to grow in your leadership, and ways you will hold yourself accountable.
I highly recommend the Dare to Lead course offered by Tovi Scruggs-Hussein and Julie Boll. Never have I before experienced such a transformational curriculum – even in an all virtual format. Their mastery of the content on courageous leadership, expert facilitation, and individualized coaching approaches will forever change your outlook on leadership and give you the tools to embody your aspirations. The course goes beyond concepts to produce integrated outcomes that drive sustainable leadership changes. In addition, you will experience this transformation in a cohort of world-class educators and nonprofit leaders. This course holds the key to make our academic institutions and mission-based organizations more courageous and equitable. "
